The Henderson Ruin

The Henderson house has not weathered the apocalypse well. Decades of neglect and water damage have caved in the roof and most of the floors, revealing a flooded basement to the sky. Most of the useful appliances, furniture, and items of value in the house have been heaped into the center of this small lake, creating a tiny island of loot. In the middle of this heap of treasure lies an ancient skeleton, skill clutching the trigger of a working fusion bazooka! But how to get to the Island safely...

The Henderson Ruin is a short adventure for the Isotope tabletop RPG. This adventure works great as a first outing after creating characters, or as side adventure to fit into another quest or location. It features an environment to explore, a powerful foe, some great treasure, and a few potential side-hooks and NPCs for further development.

The world of Isotope is inspired by Gamma World, Mutant Year Zero, Mad Max, Adventure Time, She-ra and all other sorts of post-apocalyptic mutant weirdness and magical super science.

In the wake of the apocalypse the mutants and super-evolved animals emerged. Now, alongside the remaining humans, they struggle to survive in a world of enigmatic ruins, deadly perils, and super science. You and your band of Rangers are dedicated to wander this transformed Earth in search of adventure and mystery, to help those who are in need, and unravel the slumbering secrets of the ancients.
